: : : : : : : : : : : : In Sondheimer's tweets,he still glorifies the Ball's. What's
: : : : : : : : : : : : the deal? - did they offer this guy something or what?
: : : : : : : : : : : It has a lot to do with UCLA. He is from there.
: : : : : : : : : : It's more than that. It's almost as if Sondy is Lavar's paid mouthpiece.
: : : : : : : : : Whats the latest from the little fella? More Melo growth spurt updates?
: : : : : : : : :Sondy graduated from CSUN.
: : : : : : :
: : : : : : : Per Lavar.... "We already got our own brand. Triple Bs. Lonzo is going to be the first one drafted with his own brand. That dont happen.
: : : : : : : All 3 brothers illegally endorse (and get paid) a brand! Lavar isn't even hiding it any more but yet CIF and now the NCAA don't do anything about it either. They are getting paid to advertise for BBB.
: : : : : : Caster, the kids are obviously endorsing the products and the brand and the Big Bald Bully is over the top promoting the BBB brand, but he and his "goons" or advisors are too smart or crafty to being paying the kids. That said, however, there is some $$$ being made up in there! 7 series, 6 series, Escalades, and other pimped out rides on a jumior high teacher's salary? Come on man. I predict there will he a Reggie Bush situation where people come out of the wood work looking for their piece of the action or repayment of monies loaned in exchange for something. The math just doesnt add up, does it? Maybe Eli's rent is like 7500 per month? Hahahah.
: : : : : He claims to have played in the nfl. He did not.
: : : : : http://www.nfl.com/players/search?category=name&filter=Ball&playerType=historical
: : : : Didn't he play in NFL Europe's version of the D-League?
: : : Sondy is not an alumni of UCLA. He didn't even take a night classes online from U-C-L-A! I'm not saying that we don't have our share of idiotic alumni walking around, but Sondy can't make that grade. He wanted to walk our campus as a student but didn't get in. He's a Matador. Not a Bruin. If he was a minority... ANY minority, I'd give him benefit of the doubt about not getting into UCLA. Especially during his high school years. But a white male that went to Cal State Northridge because UCLA, USC, UCSB, Cal, Stanford or USanDiego didn't want you says what? You're a moron. We're not talking about post 2000 college atmosphere either. When Sondy was applying you almost had to have 1/2 of your brain in a jar to not get into a high level university as a white male. Didn't Ted Bundy get into 3 different above average universities? He was killing women all over the damn country.
: : : Sondy does not have an eye for talent but an obsession with trying to be the guy that talented people want to cover their stories for his own fame. It's a change from him wanting to ruin the talented players for his fame. Oh, am I the only one that remembers his obsession with Renardo Sydney? He would report on this kid's newest shoes and hope that it was a NCAA infraction.
: : : Sondy was writing a few things about Gelo but we gave up now that it's his senior year. He can lie to himself about LaMelo but everyone around the country is laughing at the kid's game. He was something of a sensation when you can disguise him with highlight clips. His 92 point game did more to expose him that highlight him. But Sondy will hold on until the senior year when the novelty has faded and there's another player for him to latch on to.
: : With all due respect (and you know, when someone says that, they really have no respect for the person they are speaking to), JC, you have no real notion who Sondheimer is or what he's all about.
: : Two words: Chris Mills.
: : There, I said it. Now you know.

And by the way, the $1000 was reported to have just "fallen" out of the Emery Air Frieght envelope. 8 different Emery employees (who claimed not to be UCLA fans, but who knows...) all testified before the NCAA that the envelope had money in it, and they claimed to have called the Mills home to find out when they'd be there so Emery could deliver it. They then delivered the envelope to a 13 year old boy who answered the door, when inside to find an "adult" and came out with the signature of "C.Mills" for the envelope (could have been Chris or his step-father Claud).
How did Sondheimer get this tip (back when he was working for The LA Daily News)? Well, ask yourself for whom his brother worked: The UCLA athletic department, that's who.
The upshot of the expose' conducted by Sondheimer was Mills never went to Kentucy (he didn't go to UCLA either, although he was heavily recruited there out of Fairfax); Eddie Sutton was forced to resign as head coach at Kentucky, assistant Dwane Casey (now the Toronto Rapors HC) was fired, and the NCAA gave him a 5-year "show cause" ban, meaning that he couldn't work at any NCAA institution.
Casey has said he didn't put any money in the envelope, and will "say that until the day I die." He sued Emery for defamation and intentional infliction of emotional distress, and after a few years of litigation, settled the case for multiple millions (he actually never has to work another day in his life if he chose not to from the settlement). The NCAA lifted the "show cause" ban on Casey, but he was never able to make the move back to college (not that he needed to as things worked out)
Sondheimer? He got several awards, and received widespread acclamation from UCLA fans, and in the process screwed up a bunch of people's lives.
UCLA's fingerprints were all over this thing, and it stunk to high heaven, but no one was ever able to make any definitive connection to the school.
That's your buddy Eric Sondheimer, JC.
A real stand-up guy.
