: : : : He should have stayed another year in college.
: : : He should've went to USC instead of buying into the hype of being one & done and going to UofA. Would've been the man at USC and would've probably averaged 20ppg as a Freshman. But he's clearly an NBA player, just in a bad situation with Tobias Harris, Caldwell-Pope getting a lot of minutes.
: : :he should have went to a football school and he is a basketball player? Your posts really expose your low basketball IQ. Sean Miller is a better coach than all the SC coaches ever put together. Your NBA knowledge is no better. If you can't play on a crappy team there are issues. That stated, he will be just fine. Should have went to SC over AZ tells me all we need to know. By the way, what hs, college, or nba team do you coach in the Vally?
: USC doesn't have a basketball program? They were very close to landing him, but he bought into the hype of being a one & done and thought he could make a Final 4 with Arizona, which he didn't. USC would've been able to let him play freely and be the featured player from the very moment he stepped on the floor. Him, Jordan McLaughlin, Karin Reinhardt, Chimezie Metu, Bennie Boatwright, JuJu Jacobs, Elijah Stewart would've had a great chance of making a deep tournament run. I was clearly suggesting he should've went with his first instinict rather than making it a "business" decision. It is so wrong for one of these blue chip Southern California kids to want to help turn around a program? Your suggesting he can't play on a crappy team with the Pistons, but will be fine? Lol there aren't any minutes for him like I mentioned! Caldwell-Pope, Tobias Harris, Marcus Morris and Jon Luer get all the minutes. It's called a log-jam, which is why Van Gundy was fielding deals for Caldwell-Pope during the trade deadline to free up minutes for Stanley.
You guys are soon wrong. Stanley is a Real NBA Player that lost his HEART (MOM). HE WILL be fine whether it's in Detroit or elsewhere. Lastly, I pray that all of us reach our goal as he's done.
