: : : : : : : : : Can anyone confirm Honda center schedule
: : : : : : : : : My guess is:
: : : : : : : : : First session
: : : : : : : : : 10 am Girls 1A
: : : : : : : : : Noon Boys 1A
: : : : : : : : : 2 pm Girls 1AA
: : : : : : : : : 4 pm Boys 1AA
: : : : : : : : : Second session
: : : : : : : : : 6:30 Boys open Div
: : : : : : : : : 8:30 Girls open Div

: : : : : : : : Why have you got the girls alternating with the boys? They only do that in the southern cal regionals and the state. Girls have always played their CIF finals with all girls games

: : : : : : : Guess someone got their way and the girls will be there this year. Think boys div 2, 3, and 4 will be Saturday at Azusa pacific

: : : : : Well they finally got something right when they moved the Boys semifinals to a venue like the Galen Center and got a sellout crowd and now they go and ruin the Boys Cif div finals by alternating with the girls like they do at the regionals and the total attendance at the Honda center during the whole day probably will not equal the attendance for the two semi final games at the Galen center. They should pattern the games the way most states do by having the Girls a week ahead or behind the boys.

: : : : Agree 100%. Was pretty excited to go out and watch a bunch of games next week. May end up only going to the open division now. 20 bucks each session as well.

: : : Shalhavet is in the 4A final, so if they keep to a Saturday schedule they have to be scheduled after sundown on Saturday I believe (perhaps an 8:00 pm game at Godinez) - and you have Harvard Westlake whose boys team is in the 1A finals and girls are in the Open Division finals so either same site or Friday, Saturday schedule for them. Don't know how the Sherman Indian girls did but they had a chance for two teams in the finals also and Rolling Hills Prep has both teams in the finals.

: : The last time Shalhevet had a team go to the finals they moved it to a Monday night.

: :No one wants to see them but their parents ! Wake up !

It definitely is going to affect the attendance
Boys Basketball fans do NOT WANT to watch girls
games. Then they will Bitch about the lower
attendance. The semi=finals proved what the
four best teams in California could draw. Two
of them will be playing on Saturday.
