: : Not enough talent in that league...sorry

: Let's assume you're right. Ok. Not enough talent.

: For what? To win CIF titles? To win a league championship? To be able to say they're better than "X" school in basketball?

: If you perceive they have no talent, that's your opinion. How many times do you need to express that opinion?

: And are you open to the possibility that you could be wrong? That your view is biased, and that you're seeing things only from your own perspective, and not that of the students?

: If no one is leaving, and they just aren't good enough to beat every opponent, maybe it's not the coaches. Maybe it's not the administrators. Maybe it's the parents who don't have the genetic material to have produced "champions" on the court.

: But in the end, if the kids are staying and the coaches don't leave or get asked to leave, then what's your beef? Are you a parent of a player? Are you a coach? Are you the principal of the school?

: Gotta be one of those, otherwise you'd just watch the games and live with the outcome without whining about it.

The Foothill has a player here or there. The pg for West Ranch is a secure D3 maybe low D2 kid. The wing there is a D2 maybe low D1 prospect. Everybody has their reasons to do stuff but you can't say that guys left because of bad coaching and then went to Village Christian. The only kids that went to Village Christian from up there are kids that are family friends with the coach. So they went because of daddy and buddy ball.
There's kids from up there at Alemany, Notre Dame, Mater Dei and all over. I'd say that those kids left for better coaching.
