UCLA's is known for it's great offense but UCLA's early offense is in need of some fine tuning. Oregon has the best early offense in the league as their guards push the ball hard on opponent's missed shots and , importantly, effectively penetrate on hard tough drives to dish to wide open spot up shooters while UCLA transition offense typically ends in a lob dunk, lay-up, or unforced turnover. UCLA's guards must pushed the ball down USC's throat on USC's missed shot and physically penetrate the paint early before USC's zone is in place- and kick the ball to trailers and spot up shooters if the lay-up or dunk is not available. We will find out just how tough and smart Lonzo and Holiday are in attacking zones defenses Thursday. UCLA's transition offense discipline in flowing from transition offense to secondary offense must become more disciplined and smooth.
