: : : : Man bro who does your son play for a team we must had beat the shit out of now you feel some type of way come see a game you will be a fan after. Also I got $1000 for your 45 point spread you out here calling out.
: : : : : : : : : : No way Jserra makes it though in my opinion
: : : : : : : : : : Thoughts?
: : : : : : : : : Harvard Westlake replaces them if they win tonight.
: : : : : : : : No JSerra, No Heritage..
: : : : : : : : Replaced with Etiwanda and Edison
: : : : : : : Teams have already been announced- JSerra is in.
: : : : : : How the hell is Heritage Christian is the open division? Who are they paying off?
: : : : : I'm offering Chino Hills -45 over Heritage Christian....
: : : Yawn. Your team isn't an Open Division team. The truth isn't hate. You're not a top 2 team in a 15 miles radius from your campus. (Sierra Canyon, Alemany & if Harvard Westlake is in that radius add them & Chaminade.) You're coo but you're not top 22 in the nation. Probably not top 22 south of Bakersfield. You're coo. But you're not an open division team. Support your team but be realistic.
: : Harvard Westlake Chaminade come on now bro thats cute you sound like a hater we will beat Harvard Westlake Chaminade by 10 easy
: Esperanza should not be in open division either. They have a very good team, but will lose when they play one of these transfer destinations. A public school like Esperanza should play in their regular division and actually have a chance to win CIF when they have their best team in years. Can you say Los Alamitos? Same thing happened to them last year. All the transfer destinations should be playing each other....then we can see which school recruits the best.
I don't know about Esperanza. But Heritage shouldn't be in the open and they can't beat Harvard Westlake or Chaminade. Both teams have better players and are better coached. Coach Taint is better off picking the proverbial dingleberries off of his clipboard than trying to out coach any coach in the Mission league. If Heritage was in the Mission you'd be middle of the pack. If Crespi didn't have so many injuries Heritage would be behind Alemany, Harvard Westlake, Chaminade and Crespi for sure. Heritage barely beat Maranatha and Hart. Really? You beat Dorsey by 10. Dorsey isn't strong. Your league isn't strong. Actually, as the kids would say, "Your league is weak af." Valley Christian? I've seen them. How many soccer players are only on the basketball team to keep up their cardio? Village Christian? Seriously? Village Christian with Coach Shenanigans Shaw? 85% of SoCal is wondering how he's coaching above 5th grade and the other 15% is buying meth from him. Whittier Christian? Is that really a school? I feel like your league is just throwing "Christian" behind random names, making uniforms with them, getting JV players from other schools that nobody will miss and calling it a league.
So that's the competition that qualifies Heritage for the open division? Does your league have 2 college bound seniors? I'm not asking for 2 from a team. Just 2 from the entire league.
Enjoy the quick exit in the Open Division playoffs. Keep the car running. Do you play Chino Hills? That's not Village Christian's defensive end "point guard" or Valley Christian's right middle fielder wing. I'm not the biggest fan of Lamelo "Defense?" Ball, but he'll shoot enough to get Big O 17 rebounds and you don't have the man power to stop Big O or Scott. Actually Gelo will have a good game against Heritage... There's no chance that Heritage beats Chino Hills. Before the game your coach will give the "It's been a good season" speech. There probably won't be a game plan. Just "Go out and play hard."
Even though I parent differently, I like your spunk and optimism for your team. You tell your son that his team can national champions. I tell my son that watching his school games is worse than Chinese water torture. I'm tired of hearing parents tell for Dustin to get a foul call because he tripped of his own feet but then complain when he gets called for a foul that looks like aggravated assault. Hard truths in my house. So I have to give you the hard truth that Heritage might as well clean the lockers early.
