: : I know from a record perspective the Cubs may not be having a stellar year but as of now they hold the 3rd place spot in the Mission League....please tell me who of you out there would have predicted that (they own the tiebreak btw) with a win a home tomorrow against Crespi they can lock it up. He won't get any awards this year but in my mind this is one of the best coaching jobs of Jamal's tenure....not a D1 player on the floor, tallest player is 6'6" (who doesn't start btw) and not a great group of super-athletic dudes; just a group of kids who have bought in and play defense which allow them to be in every game. Just a shout out to a coach who will get over-looked for year-end accolades but deserves some recognition.

: Jamal Adams a class act all the way
: Great demeanor and gets through to his kids

Arguably the best coach in SoCal. No D1's, marginal high school talent, but he gets the kids to play hard. He does it the right way. I'm only mentioning Village Christian because there's a lot of posts about the trash program there. But if they have a chance to get a Loyola assistant coach they better do it. The kids under Jamal learn and the coaches that go to other programs makes them quality programs. Look at Brentwood and Notre Dame. The only reason why Coach Adams doesn't win consistently is because he doesn't recruit. He coaches whoever comes into the gym.
