: : : : Tait on the hot seat if they can't win in a weak league and produce a CIF ship with the best players in school history. Lost 4 transfers, home school program that sells popcorn and cotton candy to pay for tuition, hold back program, sponsored by converse. Horse and pony show at halftime as he lets daddy ball run program and wilson/tait wear their rodeo outfits coaching. Todd Wilson has no coaching background and never has played the game of basketball at any level and talks about his 20 years of coaching and playing experience. Put your boots and jeans on and go lasso cattle out the 405. Put on your internet site that Core Hoops is the premier player development program when you never played basketball. Go sell candy bars to generate income for your car payment. btw, $ for cars
: : : : Never heard of Todd Wilson but that is the story he tells parents. Can't be doing something for 20 year and no one has heard of you.
: : Funny comments above. lol.
: : On the basketball coaching note though...I don't see Tait going anywhere. He has improved the program since taking over, looking at maxpreps...first year finished under 500 and didn't win one league game, the second year he won 22 games and 5 league games when VC and Maranatha was good, this year...still in hunt for league. Give the guy a break. It could be a lot worse. Lol. I can't believe high school coaching has become this serious where coaches should or could get axed like it's some professional team like the 49ers or Lakers (before Luke got there obviously). There are some bad high school coaches though...Tait isn't one of them in my opinion.
: VC was good tough when Bennie was there & that was because of Bennie. Maranatha was good. Heritage is just now looking like a decent program & it's because of Tait. Don't believe your own hype. You were never a national team. He's not a great coach. I'd call him average for a high school guy but his program improves & the kids that can play like him. The kids that transferred can't play. The only transfer that's doing ok is Jordan Starr & the Starr brothers transferred because they have control at Village that they wouldn't have Heritage. So Tait can't be blamed for that.
: And remember that Tait comes from that Village Christian program. He's shaking off a lot of the bad stuff that he learned there. Give it a little time. His middle school program is rotten & sets kids back academically & has old kids. Village has the same thing & he learned it there. It will take him a little bit to unlearn the poisons there. Give it another 2 years.
: Paul worked at Village but he never coached on Shaw's staff. He was coaching golf or track. If he learned anything during his time there it was what not to do with your Program. Jon was about .500 the year before he won state and those 2 CIFs. He's burned every bridge he had that actually helped him accomplish that.
