: : : : : At halftime in the Cypress vs Kennedy game last night, a student wearing a Cypress letterman's jacket, walked up to the Kennedy student section and flipped off the stands. That could have started a riot, but it didn't. Eventually the young man was escorted out of the gym. After the game, I noticed all the trash left behind the Cypress bench. While Cypress has a very good team, there is not any outstanding players on it. They play as a team, which is why they win games. Cypress parents, put your ego's away and just enjoy watching your kids play, because none of them will be playing in college.
: : : : ::Kennedy Parent What are really upset about that you lost. Cypress kid didn't represent himself in the best light. I don't support his behavior I also don't see anyone parent except Brown parent wanting his son to be recognize that he is the best on the team. Please don't attack the kids. You don't know if anyone kid will be playing college ball or not. They have a lot of growing to do, just like your kids on your team. As far as the trash goes maybe your AD can call or AD and let them know about it. Good luck to your kids for the rest of the season. Peace
: : : : Cypress kids pick up your trash clean up after yourselves. Enjoy your season all things are possible!
: : : The player begging for recognition is Papke and his dad or whoever is his biggest fan. Brown simply put them in their place, which could be behind the bench where all the trash is gathering.HA!
: : Really Mr. Brown Re read the thread the other team was talking about him take your ego somewhere else bring down your kid and yourself!!!! HA Ha!!!!
: Cypress Fans, Nowhere did I mention Papke or Brown in what I said. However I am a fan of the way Papke plays the game. Nor do I have a kid playing at Kennedy, or even attending the school. I think that the kids on the Cypress team play well as a team and I can appreciate that. But, I also can see that their heads are in the clouds right now. A loss to Tustin at home might be the best thing for them going into CIF. I'm not saying that it's going to happen, but it might make them focus more on winning as a team than trying to be the highlight of the game.
::: I'm sorry you said parents ego. I don't have any kids on this team either or going to the school. I do live in the area for long time. I agree with their heads in the clouds they are kids. I'm sure coach will handle this I hope! If egos are in the way maybe some time on the bench might help. Take a play out of old school coach no matter how good they are. Thank you for taking the time, and support for the kids.
