: : Yesterday I was at the Brentwood vs XRoads game and expected a blowout, but it was a good game. XRoads won and Shareef ONeal and Ira Lee played. Does anyone know why they didn't play against Sierra Canyon?
: : We know the bad coaching in the area. But there's been some good coaching to. Brentwood's coach does a great job with what he has. There's a chance that I'm blinded by the gorgeous moms at XRoads games, but it feels like there's something special brewing with the hoops program there. Not "Sierra Canyon aka Prep School but Not A Prep School" but there's a change in the air there. Like an Alemany type program. A good program, will have its ups and downs, but will always compete.
: : So Chaminade won... again. I was too busy looking at soap opera actresses aka XRoads moms to catch the win but will be there for Alemany on the 13th. Someone is probably going to say "What about St Francis before Alemany." Really? Lol
: : Oh Chaminade. I never said that Coach Palarz was a bad coach or that he'd be bad for Chaminade. I commented on the truth of a parent run system and how it effects the kids, destroys the program etc. (See Winward.) But Palarz has done a magnificent job so far. Yes "magnificent." It's as if my wife realized that less is more and lost a few (30+) pounds. I'm in love again.
: : Put wins and loses to the side. Coach Palarz should be up for coach of the year. I said this to someone that I used to call a friend and he said that Sierra Canyon's coach should win it. Yes, his statement is why I no longer call him a friend. But look what Coach Pop... sorry, Coach Palarz is doing and it's without a 7'-0". Can someone check on Ryan Moore. He might be in a bathtub, water filled to the rim, listening to Nirvana with a razor in hand.

: Not looking at wins & loses? How about Coach Halic at Birmingham? Chaminade much improved with palarz . They had a lot of pretty good talent last year Moore wa playing daddy ball.. He had no choice or no job ..palarz not starting Abunnasar . Last year that kid stated every game . They lost a least three or four trying kids besides makur . I have watched him coach as he uses the 6 to 7 kids that are good very well .. Good for him and glad some parents spoke up and got rid of Moore :) the mission league looks softer this year with Crespi losing three players and Harvard west lake looking so so with some strength . They have a chance to come in the top two .. Next yr may be harder with Chaminade losing all seniors that Are decent ball players that play as a team .. Too bad they lost some juniors that left or quit .. Kids with speed and quickness. What a deep team they would of had .. Instead of 6 deep probably ten . Daddy ball looks like it's failing even though some kids got hurt by Moore .. Good news for the program . Credible has been right along . He just didn't know the talent they had and Kj makes a huge difference .. Wolfson had a lot of young talent that left .. Or quit sadly .. Not sure what they will do with Abunnasar . He has the best training money can buy but hasn't improved that much .. Go eagles
