Jerome Moiso Passes His SAT--(June 23, 1998)

The LA Times, West Coast Hoops, The Daily News and others all had it Saturday. We were stuck in Palm Springs and thus didn't have time to post this, but as most know by now, Jerome Moiso got a "passing" score on his SAT (although by most accounts it was a pretty low score), but it means that he'll be immediately eligible to play for the Bruins.

So look for UCLA to now have the best backcourt and frontcourt in the country with Gadzuric and Moiso up front, Matt Barnes and Ray Young, Ja Ron Rush, and Baron Davis (if his knee heals up in time). Oh yes, and while listening/watching Fox Sports West 2's show with Phil Gatton, one of the promoters of the IntenseCity Summer All-Star Game, which will feature NorCal v. SoCal and Orange County v. San Diego County games, Baron Davis called in to say that his knee was feeling fine, improving and that he intends to stay for 3 more years at UCLA.
