1998 Snapple Eddie Jones
All-Star Classic SoCal Game--(March 31, 1998)

As many may already know, the Snapple Eddie Jones All-Star Classic will be held Sunday April 19th at the Great Western Forum in Inglewood. According to Dinos Trigonis, the Director of the event, there are confirmed invitations from a number of local and nationally regarded high school players. There will actually be two separate All-Star Games-- an "All Southern California" game, which will get underway at 5:30 p.m., and an "All-American" game, which will start at 7:30 p.m.

Tickets for the event will be available at the Forum box office; we're not sure when they'll be available, but if the box office tells you the Lakers are playing that day, just realize that the Lakers game starts at 1:30 p.m., and will be over well in advance of these games. We also understand that Phil Gatton is also involved with Dinos in organizing this event, and if it is anything like the fine program that they featured over at Pauley Pavilion, the MLK Challenge event held this past January 19th, it will be an event not to be missed.
