Reebok Holiday Prep Classic: The Rest
Of The SoCal Team Scores--(Dec. 18, 1999)

Ok, we're beat up.  It's late and we're going to bed. . . but we want to give you the remaining scores for the rest of the SoCal-based teams in the tournament.  We'll have more details and commentary tomorrow, including full stats for each of these games, but for now we want to give you the boxes and the final scores.  Here they are:

Game 22: Bronze Cup---Galena (Reno, NV)   53, Campbell Hall 39

Boy were we wrong about this game.  Even without Lance Buonchristiani, Galena (8-2) is still tough, and Campbell Hall (7-3) still has a long way to go.  Here's the box:

Game 23:  Gold Cup--- Long Beach Jordan 64, Highland (Gilbert, AZ) 60

This was a double overtime battle between Jordan's Rashawn Childs (26 points) and Travon Bryant (21 points),  on the one hand, and Highland's Austin Ainge (son of former Suns coach and ex-Boston Celtic Danny Ainge) who scored 32 points.

Something strange is definitely going on here.   Serra's roster doesn't show Aerick Sanders (just "unknown #32) who didn't play. Doyle Cole had big numbers, but like the Pacific Hills game, he couldn't do it alone, even with the help he got.  More details tomorrow.  For now here's the box:
