West Coast All-Stars: Second Session
Senior All-Star Game--(July 17, 1999)

Again, we only saw bits and pieces of this game, and if we have any suggestion for next year's games, we'd suggest that the all-star players not play in the precding "Great 8" games because by the end of the second week of camp, many of the seniors and especially the "Best of the Best" all-stars, many of whom have spent the prior week at ABCD, looked pretty tired and with all the college coaches in the house, about 60 by the time the senior all-star game got going, it did not make for an optimal viewing.  At least no one got hurt, and there were some standout performances, including some great play by Sante (pronounced "Shantay") Gayle, Montell Duhon and Doyle Cole.   We don't have a lot to say about this game, except that most of the players are pretty well known by now among readers of SoCalHoops and other national recruiting sites such as HoopScoop and PrepStars. Here's the Senior All-Star roster:

Doyle Cole (6'-5" Sr. SG/SF) Serra
Ronald Coleman (6'-9" Sr. F) Horizon
