adidas Big Time Tournament
"C" Bracket #18--(July 20, 1999)

The Big Time Tournament consisted of 256 teams, each assigned to a pool; the top 48 teams (those in pools A-M) and the first place teams in the other 52 brackets (for a total of 100 teams) competed for the top title, the "Open Bracket" championship.   The remaining teams in the last 52 brackets, the second place, third place and fourth place teams, all were then assigned to the remaining three brackets (A, B and C) depending on how they fared in pool play.  The A bracket had all the second place teams, the B bracket had all 52 third place teams and the C bracket had the 4th place teams from Pools M through DDD.

Each of the A, B, and C brackets was divided up into four smaller sub-brackets.  Below is C Bracket #18, the second of the four brackets in the C Division.  The winner of the last game in the bracket advanced to the quarterfinals which was played yesterday (we won't tell you who won yet, because we'll post that separately).  The bracket though will  give you a visual idea of who did what, who advanced and who got knocked out and when:
