LA Watts Summer Games: Next
Weekend's Boys BB Schedule--(June 21, 1999)

The schedule for the LA Watts Summer Games Boys' Basketball games is only partially completed, but this is a lot better than nothing. We're still missing the scores from Dorsey High for most of Sunday, and as a result, we have no idea which teams will advance from that pool. The rest are done and reported, so we know about those games. Saturday will be Round IV, which is the quarterfinals. The semis and finals will be played on Sunday, and we're pretty sure that they'll all be at LA Southwest College.

Next weekend, all the games will be played at Washington HS, and at LA Southwest College. Here's the schedule for Saturday, June 26, 1999:

As we said, we don't know who won from the Dorsey games this weekend, but we're willing to bet that No. 2 overall seed Westchester was one of the teams. . . and if they weren't, well, never mind. Some great matchups with some excellent teams.
