Cal-Hi Sports: 1998-1999 All-State Boys
First, Second & Third Teams --(April 2, 1999)

Our good friends over at Student Sports, Inc, who have their own great website (www.studentsports.com), also publish the Cal-Hi Sports Newswire Service. They've  sent us a complete copy of the All-State Teams and Player selections from Volume 20, No. 29 of their March 31, 1999 Newsletter, and have given us permission to post their selections on SoCalHoops.  So here's the plug: Subscribe to Cal-Hi Sports, not so much because we agree with their picks, or because they are "right."  In fact, in some places we might have selected other players.  But that's not the point.  They do a credible job and take their work seriously.   And just so you know, we don't get anything if you do subscribe.  Nada, nothing, bupkis. But it will enable Cal-Hi Sports to do the work they do all season long.  Subscriptions can be obtained for $69.00 for an entire year, or if you are just interested in basketball, (or fall sports, or spring sports) you can get individual season subscriptions for $35.00 per season. If you want to subscribe, call Cal-Hi Sports at (310) 816-1080, and they can process your credit card order over the phone and will start your subscription immediately.  You can also reach Cal-Hi Sports by snail-mail at 21720 S. Wilmington Ave. Suite 307, Long Beach, CA 90810. What follows are the 1998-99 All-State Boys Basketball Team Selections:
