Statewide Rankings: Cal Hi Sports' Poll--(Feb. 10, 1999)

Here's the Cal-Hi Sports compiled rankings from last week, as of February 4. The new rankings should be out tomorrow in the press (although the mailed rankings were received a few days ago).  Not much has changed in the various divisions from the one we posted last week. In anticipation of the playoffs coming up, we're doing both NorCal and SoCal rankings, although we're still mystified at how Cal-Hi considers Bakersfield among the teams in "Northern California" when they play in the Southern California regionals. . . the same goes for Fresno Clovis West and Washington Union (Easton?) . . . oh well. We're getting tired of other people's polls anyway, so maybe we'll just do one of our own.  Stay tuned.
